Swedish “fika” culture is something special. Most commonly associated with the Swedish “fika” is the cinnamon bun. The area around the hotel is rich on cozy cafés for “fika”. At Café Saturnus, just 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel you will find Stockholm’s largest cinnamon buns. French-inspired café and lunch place with an environment decorated in warm colors. The coffee is served in large bowls, unique in itself.

Bröd & Salt is a small craft of bakery chain, just a stone’s throw from the hotel. The bread is day-fresh, baked on sourdough and lactose-free. In addition to freshly baked bread, buns and cakes, there is a selection of fresh salads, sandwiches and wraps for those who are hungry for lunch.
DINNER
Hellsten Earth Bar, the hotel’s own bar and restaurant, offers a wonderful selection of Swedish classics at a great price. Try our classic moose-burger with root vegetables and mushroom sauce or the musty reindeer-stew with inspiration from the north.
We highly recommend a visit to our own hideaway Hellstens Glashus Restaurant and Bar, just a few by underground to Mariatorget. Between the unique glass facade and the brick walls from the former metalworks, you’ll find Glashuset Restaurant and Bar. A dazzling seven meters from floor to ceiling creates a special atmosphere in this extraordinary venue on Södermalm. Consisting of exposed rock face from millions of years ago, we dare to say that we have the oldest floor you’ll ever place your feet on whilst ordering a drink. A familiar restaurant, large in heart, where the food is cooked from scratch.
A stone’s throw from the hotel you will find Rolfs Kök. Founder Rolf wanted to create an open kitchen to make contact with the guests. He was out early to bring in well-known Swedish architects to create the right environment. Rolfs Kök is a successful combination of warm and personal service, excellent wines and delicious food of fine ingredients.
Grill is the restaurant for those who like to grill. All possible ingredients grilled in every possible way, inspired by five continents. The decor is at least playful, with nine different styles – from hunting lodge to Versailles.
Hötorgshallen on Hötorget offers delicacies from all corners of the world. Make a gastronomic trip and botanize among the booth’s. In addition to the sale of classic merchandise such as charcuteries and cheeses, Hötorgshallen has become a popular lunch place with everything from luxury fish dishes to fast food from different countries and coffee bars.
Tranan, a place to meet, maybe eat a bite and take a glass. Here Stockholmers have met and dined since 1929. Classic Swedish home cooking, such as mashed potatoes and classic meatballs. A menu that varies according to the season’s ingredients to create really good home cooking.
